GOMA Rugged Solutions, founded in 1977 as GOMA Elettronica S.p.A., is a privately held company based in Turin, Italy. For nearly five decades, we have focused on designing and manufacturing rugged computing systems for environments where standard commercial hardware cannot operate.
Our systems are deployed by leading defence and aerospace system integrators across Europe and beyond, supporting applications in armoured vehicles, naval platforms, aircraft, helicopters, radar systems and field-deployed infrastructures.
At GOMA Rugged Solutions we design, machine, integrate and qualify each platform with full control over the entire process — from specification to delivery for all our COTS solutions.
This approach reduces supply chain dependency and ensures consistency, traceability and performance across every deployment.
What defines GOMA: vertical integration, European manufacturing, and direct engineering engagement throughout the entire program lifecycle.

Supply chain independence. No manufacturing dependencies outside the EU. No exposure to export restrictions, tariffs, or geopolitical supply disruptions that affect non-European suppliers.
Intellectual property protection. All design data, production processes, and qualification results remain within European jurisdiction. Complete in-house control over the full product lifecycle.
Traceability and control. From raw material to final test report, every step is documented, traceable and managed within our own facilities. Configuration control and quality management under AS 9100D and ISO 9001.
Regulatory alignment. Full compliance with EU defence procurement regulations, GDPR, and European cybersecurity frameworks. ISO 27001 certified information security management.
